I built KC Performance because I kept seeing the same problem over and over again: athletes being treated like everyone else. Cookie-cutter care. Generic protocols. Providers who didn't understand the demands of competition, the toll of training, or the mindset of someone whose entire identity is tied to performance.
I'm a lifelong athlete and musician who understands what it means to push your body to its limits—and what it costs when it breaks down. My clinical path took me through orthopedic trauma surgery, where I saw the aftermath of preventable injuries. Then into critical care, where I learned to make high-stakes decisions under pressure. And eventually into sports medicine and functional recovery, where I found my calling: bridging the gap between conventional care and the real needs of competitive athletes.
What I saw in practice confirmed what I already knew from experience: athletes weren't lacking effort or discipline. They were lacking care that actually fit how they lived and trained. Care that looked at the whole picture—hormones, gut health, sleep, inflammation, recovery—not just the pain they came in with.
KC Performance was built to change that.
